Jason Miller, washer repair technician serving Colorado Springs, CO

Meet Jason Miller

Jason Miller has been repairing washers, dryers, and home appliances in Colorado Springs for 8+ years. He has completed manufacturer-focused appliance repair training and regularly works with major washer brands including Whirlpool, LG, Samsung, Maytag, GE, and Kenmore.

I got into appliance repair because I enjoy finding the problem and getting things working again. Around Colorado Springs, I see a lot of washers that will not drain, will not spin, leak, or simply will not start. I focus on finding the actual cause of the problem instead of recommending parts that are not needed. If a repair is not practical or safe, I will tell the customer honestly.

How We Work

Seven steps, and no work starts before you have seen the price.

  1. You call. Tell us the brand, the model number, and what the machine is doing. Fills but will not spin is a different job from will not power on, and the difference decides which parts ride in the van.
  2. We give you a likely cause and a range. Before anyone drives out. If it is something you can fix yourself in five minutes, we tell you on the phone and you owe us nothing.
  3. We book a real arrival window. Not a whole day. We call about 30 minutes ahead.
  4. We diagnose on site for $89. We test the pump, the switches, and the board separately. Error codes point at a symptom, not always the cause, so we verify before we condemn a part.
  5. You get one number before we start. Parts, labor, and warranty in a single quote. If the repair is not worth doing, we say so and the $89 is all you pay.
  6. We fix it and clean up. Most jobs finish in the same visit. Every safety switch goes back working.
  7. You are covered for 90 days. Parts and labor. If the same fault returns inside that window, we come back at no charge.

What We Stand For

We tell you when not to repair

Drum bearings on a sealed plastic tub, a cracked outer tub, gearcase grease marking your clothes. On most machines those cost more than the washer is worth, and we will tell you that on the phone rather than charge a diagnostic to say it in person. See when we recommend replacement.

We never leave a safety switch bypassed

Some machines can be made to run by bypassing the lid switch or door lock. Technicians use bypass tools on the bench to watch a machine operate with the lid open. That tool never leaves with a machine. A washer returned to service without a working lid switch is a hazard to whoever uses it next, and most often that is a child. If a previous repair left yours bypassed, we will tell you and put it right.

We diagnose instead of guessing

A drain code can mean a clogged filter, a failed pump, or a pressure sensor reading wrong. Those are three different repairs at three different prices. We test components separately before replacing anything, which is why we can put a firm number in front of you.

Who We Work With

Homeowners

Most of our calls. Same-day when we have the slot, next-day when we do not, across Colorado Springs and El Paso County.

Military families

Colorado Springs is home to Fort Carson, Peterson Space Force Base, Schriever Space Force Base, and the Air Force Academy. A washer that worked fine at your last duty station and now bangs on every spin is usually shipping bolts left in by the movers, an unlevel machine, or a drain hose at the wrong height. All three are quick fixes, and all three are common after a PCS move. Discounts available for military members.

Landlords and property managers

A good share of our work is rental property, especially in Fountain, Security-Widefield, Cimarron Hills, and the older central neighborhoods where laundry hookups date back decades.

  • We schedule directly with your tenant so you are not relaying messages
  • You get the diagnosis and quote before any work starts, and you approve it, not the tenant
  • Invoicing is per unit with the address and machine model on the line item
  • Multi-unit visits get scheduled together on one trip
  • If a machine is past worth repairing, we say so in writing

Brands and Problems We Handle

We work on Whirlpool, Samsung, Maytag, LG, GE, Speed Queen, Kenmore, Bosch, Frigidaire, Electrolux, Amana, and Hotpoint, in both top load and front load configurations.

The faults we see most: washer not draining, not spinning, leaking, shaking or banging, will not start, and stopping mid-cycle. Answers to the common ones are on our washer repair FAQs page.

A few honest notes on brands

  • Samsung builds excellent electronics, and their washer control boards are the part we replace most on that brand. Owners know this and we will not pretend otherwise.
  • Speed Queen is built heavier than most of what is on the market, and repairs are usually worth doing even on older machines.
  • Whirlpool and Maytag share a parts platform, so diagnosis and parts availability are straightforward.
  • Bosch and Miele need brand-specific parts that sometimes take a few days to arrive.
